Wick’s Story 2022-05-10T22:55:25+12:00

It’s the end of a long day and you have just got home from work and after school activities. The kids are complaining they are hungry and dinner is not going to cook itself. You open the fridge door hoping for inspiration to strike… but it doesn’t.

So you grab the same old packaged ingredients, to make the same old meals that the kids push around their plates.

Does this sound familiar?

You want to serve your family delicious, healthy meals that they will love. But you don’t know where to start.

Enter Wicked Wellbeing.

Hi, I am Wick. I am the ice cream-loving, organised, detail-focused, extroverted recipe master and founder of Wicked Wellbeing.

I am passionate about creating easy and achievable recipes that actually work, that the whole family will enjoy. I know how hard it can be to juggle the kids, the spouse, the house and work, then still have the energy to cook dinner… every single night.

Let me lessen your load by providing you with healthy and easy meal options.

My Story

I have always loved to cook and to experiment in the kitchen. But I never dreamed that I could make a career out of it. I mean, I was just a Mum with 3 young kids of my own who was passionate about providing my family with great food. But what I didn’t realise was that something that came naturally to me, was a huge struggle to other parents.

In 2015, I released a 21 Day Marvellous Lunchbox Makeover free challenge, and with over 4500 parents signing up for it, it was clear that so many Mums were in the same position – they all wanted to get themselves out of the rut of providing the same old school lunches, and to have creative, wholesome, nourishing, and more interesting alternatives to processed, additive-laden foods.

I believe we know the importance of avoiding additives and preservatives and instead providing our kids with nutrient dense meals that feed their brains, give them energy and set them up for a lifetime of healthy eating habits, but a lack of time, exhaustion and overwhelm don’t always allow this to happen.

Since the lunchbox makeover challenge, I have self-published two award winning healthy kids lunchbox cookbooks, have worked with hundreds of parents through my live workshops and events, have facilitated weekend wellness retreats and and helped hundreds of parents realise that prioritising their own health is essential and not a feeling of guilt, through my on-line membership, the Wicked Healthy Tribe. If this is something you can relate to, I’d love to have you join me!

My Philosophy

I just want healthy eating to be easy for you! I want your healthy meals to be simple, quick and achievable – reducing the need for takeaways and packaged foods. I don’t follow any strict eating regimes – I’m not paleo, vegetarian or vegan. I simply believe that whatever you cook needs to work for you and your family, and something that is sustainable and can work over the long term.

My aim is to inspire, support and guide you in your quest for nutritious and delicious meals, with less stress and way more enjoyment. So, let me help you!
