Being in my late 40's hit me hard last year, I expected an easy peri-menopause journey with my healthy lifestyle, but heck no! Anxiety, mood swings, getting irritated with everyone around me and embarrassing memory loss moments were horrendous!
I turned to HRT after consulting my doctor.
But hours of continued reading & learning lead to a new world of understanding and I now realise I jumped too fast, so armed with newfound knowledge, I’m on a mission to tackle this midlife naturally.
This has led to the 'Embracing Change During Midlife' focus in the Wicked Healthy Tribe (my online health & wellbeing membership), where my mission is to now personally get off HRT and treat this naturally.

Joining a group of like minded women in a similar space as you is key for lasting success. In a community, women uplift each other, providing both safety and the strength to grow.
So, what does it look like? Over the course of the year, starting in February in the tribe, we'll be focussing on these different areas:
What I know is what used to work in our 20s and 30s won't necessarily cut it in our 40s and 50s— once you hit 40, our hormones start to tank and our lifestyle needs to change and the sooner we wake up to that, the less pain and suffering we're going to have as you go through this journey.

Fasting isn't for everyone though, especially anyone pregnant, breastfeeding or who has a history of eating disorders.
