Let me take you on a wee journey…

Have you ever been on a wellness retreat? Have you ever taken a whole weekend out just for you, where you can completely relax and not have to think about a thing other than yourself.

Not even what food you need to take, if there’s going to be enough coffee, or what you actually need to pack?

If that’s a no, then this weekend retreat is for you. All you need to do is get yourself there and then it’s over to me! And if you’re flying in, I can pretty much arrange transport from the airport with someone coming from the city!

Think fresh juices to start your day, nourishing whole foods gluten-free and dairy-free all weekend long to energise your soul, cooking workshops, spas under the stars, walks along the beach, camaraderie with other amazing ladies on the same journey as you, in the most incredible tranquil location in Whananaki, 2 ¾ hrs north of Auckland… it doesn’t get much better than that.

Due to Covid, my Sept retreat had to be postponed, which is now the 1st – 3rd April, 2022! Only 2 places available.

This is a weekend to recharge your batteries, take some time out for yourself and immerse yourself in absolute goodness. Leave with the knowledge about amazing healthy food, what it can do for you and regain enthusiasm for cooking, exercise and life!

It’s also the weekend that daylight savings finishes so we gain an hour, and even though it’s only an hour, I think you’ll agree it feels like much more than an hour that we’ll get to enjoy the amazing weekend!

As Sarah said, “I’m really excited about this because I suck at cooking. I am really lazy in the kitchen so this is going to be fantastic and just what I need personally.”

Whananaki Wellness Retreat

So, what exactly can you expect from a Wellness Weekend Retreat?

  • 2 nights’ accommodation in a gorgeous designer holiday home right on the waters edge of Whananaki, 2 3/4 hours north of Auckland

  • Delicious and nutritious cuisine – all meals included (excludes Friday night, but supper is supplied). Cleansing fresh juices, whole foods, plant based and raw sweet treats, all catering for gluten & dairy free

  • Learn and be involved with hands on cooking workshops to build your knowledge & confidence

  • New product discovery and tasting, and how to make nutritious gluten-free eating part of your day

  • Team workshops, in small groups for fun and camaraderie to prepare the Saturday evening meal together

  • Solo time to reconnect, reflect and enjoy the space to simply relax and read your book

  • Gorgeous beach walks, kayaking/paddle boarding & swimming in what must be the most untapped coastline of the North Island

  • Outdoor spa under the stars (assuming adequate water levels)

  • Educational and clarity session to leave with a focus & a plan on how to maintain what you’ve learnt

I learnt so many great tips and loved learning and sharing with all the amazing women there. I didn’t realise how much I needed 48 hours focusing on what I need to do to feel good and healthy. After being the rock that everyone else in my life needed, I hadn’t clocked the heavy load I had been carrying. It was liberating to put my needs first and to focus on what I need to feel good to live and eat more healthy (and have lots of fun too!). I have already drastically reduced my gluten intake to see how that feels, and I’m absolutely committed to the resolutions I made in the clarity session the last day.

Sign me up for next year, I loved it!
