For years I have been wanting to produce a tea towel, but I didn’t want it to be just another tea towel, I wanted it to be meaningful, where you’d be inspired every time you used it. Finally, I’ve done it and I’m super excited! I also had one more request. They needed to have excellent drying capability – there’s nothing worse than a tea towel that isn’t absorbent and ‘slides’ over the dishes. So when I was deciding on the fabric at the printers, I said to the owner, “Right, let’s get in the kitchen and do some dishes – I need to know that these tea towels dry properly!”. He said, “Well, I’ve got to say, I’ve never had this request before!” 😉
