With feijoa's abundant at this time of year, this feijoa smoothie is not only delicious but also super refreshing and energising. Great as a breakfast to start your day (add some extra yoghurt as your protein source), or as an afternoon pick me up.

Serves: 1 serve
Ingredients
- 2-3 fresh feijoas, pulped
- 1 banana, fresh or frozen
- 1 handful spinach leaves
- 2 T chia seeds
- ½ c coconut water
- ½ c coconut milk/cream
- ½ t vanilla essence
Instructions
- Place all of the ingredients in a blender or nutri bullet and blitz until smooth. Add more liquid if you prefer a slightly thinner consistency. Serve with extra slices of fresh feijoa on the top and a sprinkle of chia seeds. Any leftover smoothie mixture can be frozen.
