Homemade Muesli

Ingredients
  • 7 c fine rolled oats
  • 1 c bran
  • 1 c coconut
  • ½ c pumpkin seeds
  • ½ c sunflower seeds
  • ½ c linseeds
  • ½ c oatbran
  • ½ c wheatgerm
  • ¼ c slithered almonds
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • ½ c honey
  • ½ c neutral oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 150° C.
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a large baking dish.
  3. Melt the honey and the oil together over a low heat in a small pot.
  4. Combine the honey mixture with the dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes, remove and turnover. Return to the oven for a further 15-20 minutes until it’s lightly browned. Remove and cool. Store in an airtight container.
  6. Serve with a dollop of natural unsweetened yoghurt with a drizzle of pure maple syrup and strawberries.
